Rachel Drake

Rachel has been running ultras for a decade. She is the mother of a 1.5 year old, a two time top 10 finisher at UTMB races (7th at CCC in 2019 and 6th at OCC in 2023), Black Canyon 100k champion and was 2nd at the Golden Trail World Championships in 2020. Outside of running, she has her MD PhD from Oregon Health and Science University and is starting residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Utah. She feels most joyful moving through the mountains and sharing the outdoors with her family Tyler, Lewis and Teddy.

Hilary Yang

Hilary is an award-winning photographer, graphic designer, writer, videographer, creative director, and she’s been a competitive ultra runner for the last decade.

After leaving her corporate job to go back to art school in her late 20’s, she has since pursued an unconventional career as a female outdoor creative that allows her to combine her passion for endurance running with visual storytelling. Her over-arching goal is to challenge others to push outside their comfort zones, both through her work and her own adventures around the world.

Leah Yingling

Leah is a trail and ultrarunner from Salt Lake City, Utah. Since her first 50k race in 2015, she’s completed over 50 ultramarathons, ranging in distance from 50k to 400 miles. She has finished in the top-ten of the Western States Endurance Run (twice!) and Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc, and has represented team USA at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships. When she’s not running, she’s working full-time as a biomedical engineer in the health tech industry and scheming up new adventures with her husband, Mike McMonagle.

Katie Asmuth

Katie has raced ultras for over a decade- competing in distances from 50k to 100 miles. She has three top-ten finishes at the Western States 100, securing the 6th fastest time in history in 2023. Katie lives in Mammoth Lakes, CA, with her two active kids, rescue pup, and husband, Pete. She stays grounded as a Nurse Practitioner- serving vulnerable populations for the past 12 years.

She is happiest on mountain adventures with friends and is euphoric when trailrunners gather in her back yard at the Mammoth Trail Fest every September. Katie works with the Professional Trail Running Association, advocating for a women’s participation in trail globally.
