Episode 539: Marisa Howard; First time Olympian in the Steeplechase headed to Paris!

Is there anything better than watching someone become an Olympian?!

Marisa Howard ran the race of her life at the Olympic Trials Steeplechase final last week. She ran 9:07 which was a 15 second PR for the Steeple veteran and first time mom. She placed third running a strong race from start to finish and if you haven’t seen the video yet of her family freaking out at the finish make sure you google that!

Marisa lives and trains in Boise, ID and ran for Boise State. She ran the trials supported by Tracksmith which was not a traditional sponsorship but a great support for the Olympic Trials for so many athletes like Marisa.

In this episode Marisa and I talk about how she felt becoming an Olympian, her training, family and her faith. I love her authenticity and was grateful for this conversation!
