Episode 133: Angela Douglas – Importance of movement and showing the way by doing the thing

Angela Douglas is the Executive Director for Healthy New Albany which is an organization that promotes wellness in Ohio. They have toddler in nature programs, nourish cooking lessons, a food pantry, and five races throughout the year that help fund their programming. They also have a virtual kids marathon where you do 26 miles over an 8 week period. She started the food pantry in her garage when she was pregnant and had a 1.5 year old. It is really cool to hear how all of that evolved. She also served in the army for 4 years and in this episode she shares how that shaped how she views life everyday and feels a pull to make an impact in what she does.

In this episode, we get to hear about finding ways to give our kids perspective, kids in sports and athletics and the importance of moving our bodies.
