Rebecca Mehra and I got to sit down in person and record in Raleigh, NC before the Sir Walter Mile! She had a great race there where she ran a PR of 4:27.96 which was a 3 second PR. Rebecca runs for Oiselle and is coached by Lauren Fleshman and is part of the Little Wing Athletics team.
Rebecca ran the 800m and the 1500m at the Olympic Trials this summer. She ran 5 races in 8 days and grabbed 2 11th place finishes! Rebecca has a 1500m PR of 4:06.28 and an 800m PR of 2:01.09. In 2019, she ran a road mile PR of 4:22 at the 5th Avenue Mile where she finished 3rd.
