He took the Appalachian Trail speed record that year, averaging nearly 50 miles a day over 46 days. He also once held the United States all-surface record in the 24-Hour Run with 165.7 miles: 6.5 marathons in one day – which in this episode he mentions he might have interest in chasing that down again.

You’ll also get to hear from his wife, Jenny about their time on the Appalachian Trail and what’s next for them. No fear friends- Jenny will be back on for a solo episode where we’ll get to hear all about her story as well.
