I’m honored to have Olympian Kim Conley on the podcast today! Kim is California gal, and runs professionally for New Balance. She competed in the 2012 and 2016 Olympics for Team USA in the 5,000 Meters. Kim ran collegiately at UC Davis, becoming the first track and field athlete at her school to qualify for the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships. She however never made it in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships – yet still became an Olympian on the Track in the 5,000 Meters. She has a unique and interesting story of becoming a professional runner that you will learn all about in this episode. I learned so much and I know you’ll be inspired by her passion and pursuit of a dream. Kim ran her first marathon in NYC in 2016 and says it was the hardest race of her life – we get to hear about that experience and what goals she has for future marathons. As a marathoner myself, I love to hear these professional runners talk about marathon dreams!
