Episode 122: Teal Burrell

I love bringing guests back on the show and today we get to hear from Teal Burrell, who was my guest for episode 58! Teal went from a 4 hour marathon to a 2:42 and we talked all about this in my first chat with her. Since we last talked, Teal has had a baby and just ran her second fastest marathon time ever, 14 months in a time of 2:44  at the Pittsburgh Marathon. This race gave her another Olympic Trials Qualifying Time in the marathon and she is looking to run a few more marathons before the 2020 trials with a goal of not only breaking her PR of 2:42 but also breaking the 2:40 barrier.

Teal has her Doctorate in Neuropsychology and is an accomplished writer about all things running and science. She lives in Richmond VA with her husband and their daughter. She currently stays home with her daughter and freelances part time as a writer.
