Galen Rupp is one of the greatest American Distance Runners of all time. He won a Silver Medal in the 10,000 in the Rio 2016 Olympics and a Bronze Medal in the Marathon in the Tokoyo 2020 Olympics. He is also the 2017 champion of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. He’ll be on the motorcade this year on the broadcast which will be super fun. Though he’s jumping into that side of the sport, he is still all in for LA 2028. 🙂
Galen has been known for keeping the training and life close to the vest and shows up at races to tell the story. Needless to say I was really excited to find out I would have the honor to interview him at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo during the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Weekend.
Galen is the father of four kids and over the past 20 years has proven time and time again that he is one of the very best. I loved exploring all of this with him on stage at the expo and hope that you will take some great advice and insight from Galen.
