Sage Hurta-Klecker runs for the On Athletics Club and is an 800m and 1500m specialist. She had a breakout year in the 800m last year, breaking 2 minutes for the first time and then continuing to do it over and over again. She went to the University of Colorado where she was an indoor NCAA mile national champion. She was a PAC-12 Champion in the 800m and an All-American.
In this episode, we talk about her time at the University of Colorado and I ask her about her experiences there and what that time in her life was like.
It has been so much fun to see her have some big breakthroughs in her professional running career so far!!
After we recorded this episode, she was one of the pacers for Faith Kipyegon in the 1500m World Record race!
I am so excited to see what Sage has ahead for her in her professional running career!
