Episode 263: Addie Bracy

Addie Bracy joins me on the show today! She runs for Nike Trail, she’s a running coach, a mental performance consultant and the co-founder of OUTrun. The inspiration behind OUTrun is to empower and connect LGBTQ+ individuals within the running community and to create an environment that is encouraging, supportive, and inclusive to all.

Addie has a wide range in her athletic accomplishments having qualified for both the 10K and the marathon in the Olympic trials in previous years and is now a staple in the Ultra running community having placed 2nd at the Leadville 100 in 2018 and 9th at Western States in 2019.

She got her Masters in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver and is currently writing a book that she shares about in this episode. It sounds so good and I had lot’s of questions about it.

In this episode Addie shares with us a little bit about her own running career, we talk about running for Nike Trail, her heart behind OUTrun and what she’s most passionate about in this community.

Enjoy my conversation with Addie Bracy!
