Episode 200: Katy Jermann

Katy Jermann debuted the marathon in 2:33:41 in January and is running her second marathon at the TCS NYC Marathon this fall! Someone to be watching for sure if she’s not already on your radar. Katy runs for Team USA Minnesota and also has a half marathon PR of 1:10:27. She does a lot of her training miles with her also super speedy husband who happens to be a 2:13 marathoner himself, also running for Team USA Minnesota.

Both Katy and her husband have jobs outside of running- she is a reading specialist and in this episode talks about how having a mutli-facueted live is a big part of her running success. Katy ran for Iowa State and also shares with us what she learned throughout her college running career and the transition to becoming pro. This is a fun conversation and I am so excited to share Katy’s story with you all!
