Episode 189: Matt Chittim

Matt Chittam, Host of the Rambling Runner Podcast joins me today on the podcast! Matt has become a great friend over the past couple years and I’m super inspired by what he’s created in the running/podcast scene.

Matt works full time in Fundraising and has a deep passion for podcasting. He works so hard to bring the stories of amateur runners from all over to his listeners and does a fabulous job exploring their lives. Matt is the father of two and has been married to his wife Hollie for 10 years- I loved hearing him talk about how Hollie is so supportive of his work and he gets personal sharing about his decision to start going to therapy ad how his wife played a really integral part in making that happen.

Matt is launching an exciting new series called “Road to the Olympic Trials” where he follows seven athletes competing in the Olympic Trials this coming February and one athlete is going for a shot to qualify this fall. The athletes range from full time pros, to working professionals who still run 90 mile weeks and compete at World Class speeds and those who qualified by just a small margin and will be toeing the line with the best distance runners in our country in February. All who have inspiring stories! Make sure you go subscribe and check it out because it’s launching next week!
